Percussion Camp

Students going into grades 6-8 will gain s completely hands-on experience and instruction in multiple areas of percussion, including: snare drum, keyboard percussion, timpani, drumset, hand drums, and more!

A 2-day camp where students preparing for the 9/10 or 11/12 Florida All-State Band will get detailed instruction on the audition etudes for Snare, Mallets, and Timpani, as well as Scales and Sight Reading. No obligation to audition - students can attend this camp simply to get the highest level concert percussion experience!

Rising 9th through 12th grade students will spend 2 days on all the important topics: styles, coordination, Jazz Band preparation, and more! Not for students who are brand new to drumset. You are encouraged to bring your own drumset, but not required!

Students will be placed in marching ensembles based on skill level and become immersed in all things Marching Snare, Tenors, or Bass Drum! All students will leave this camp ready to rock come band camp!
